RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL is the first public school in Mainland China to have developed our own 1-to-1 teaching and learning program – the Future School Program (FSP), designed based on the Partnership for 21 Century Skills framework.
In May 2012, RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL was awarded the certification as an Apple Distinguished School for the second consecutive year. Since then, our Strategic Innovation and Development department has embarked on a full-scale professional development platform for our teachers, training them in 1-to-1 teaching and learning methods as well as holistic assessment approaches, with the aim of sustainably creating a customized 21st Century learning environment for each unique individual student. In line with this long-term goal, we successfully held the inaugural 1-to-1 Teaching & Learning Exploration @ XISHAN International Summit on 23-25 November 2012, and subsequently our second summit on 22-24 November 2013.
In August 2012, RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL, together with nine other institutions from Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, the United States, England and Australia joined to form the Strategic Alliance of Global Educators (SAGE) to share and exchange educational expertise and resources across an international platform.
For our third annual iSummit held 21-23 November 2014, RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL has invited renowned local and global education experts to grace the event as VIP guests, keynote speakers, presenters and trainers – including Diplomatic Officer of State Council, Chief Principal of RDFZ School Alliance and Principal of Renda Fuzhong Ms. Liu Pengzhi; Principal of Tsinghua Fuzhong Mr. Wang Dian Jun; Head of Special Projects at School of Science and Technology Singapore Ms. Loh Kwai Yin; and President of Global and Online Education College at University of Oregon Prof. Zhao Yong.
Aligning our theme with the three specialist sectors that SAGE focuses on (Bilingualism and Biculturalism; 1-to-1 Computing in Teaching and Learning; Experiential Learning), the third iSummit will be running three concurrent sessions featuring six Keynote Speakers as well as sharing by four SAGE member schools. In addition, the event will hold training workshops conducted by guest presenters and RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL teachers, and experiential learning activities run by RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL students.
Other key highlights of the third iSummit are SAGE’s strategic meeting held once every two years, a special education forum for invited participants, the global launch of the 2014 WISE (World Innovation Summit for Education) Book, as well as the handover ceremony for the next school who will be hosting SAGE 2016.
Counting down to yet another successful iSummit in Beijing, the teachers of RDFZ XISHAN SCHOOL look forward to convening with global educators and industry experts from Denmark, Finland, Singapore, and the United States, as well as Greater China educators from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan, Jiangxi and other regions, working meaningfully and collaboratively to forge an even brighter future for education.

人大附中西山学校是中国第一所致力开展1对1数字化学习项目的公办完全中学。学校以21世纪学习框架为基础，构建了着眼未来教育发展方向的未来学习蓝图。
2012年5月，人大附中西山学校被认证为苹果杰出教育项目学校并连续两年获得认证。以此为高点与起点，学校发展规划处致力于为全体教师搭建探索1对1数字化学习的便利通道，吸收先进的未来教学理念与方法，推动全体教师专业发展，为每位学生创造个性化学习的教育新天地。为此，学校于2012年11月23-25日和2013年11月22-24日成功举办了两届“1对1教学探索@西山国际峰会”
为了在国际平台上共享优质教育教学资源，2012年8月，人大附中西山学校与北京、上海及新加坡、美国、英国和澳大利亚的10所学校共同发起成立了“国际教育合作联盟”。2014年度西山国际峰会将与国际教育合作联盟两年一届的战略会议合一举行，名为“国际教育合作联盟暨2014西山国际峰会”。本年度会议在探讨1对1数字化学习之外，还将聚焦双语和双文化、体验式学习两大主题。
在为期三天的峰会中，人大附中西山学校邀请到了来自国内外的数位知名教育专家进行主旨演讲，包括国务院参事、人大附中联合学校总校校长、人大附中校长刘彭芝女士，清华附中校长王殿军先生，新科技中学 (新加坡) 特别项目主任罗桂艳女士，美国俄勒冈大学全球与线上教育学院赵勇教授。对齐国际教育合作联盟的三大主题，还安排有三个场次同步开设的六位嘉宾演讲及国际教育合作联盟学校带来的分享。另有分别由特邀嘉宾及人大附中西山学校教师主持的分享工作坊、由人大附中西山学校学生主持的“活力西山”学习小站和“中国心”体验活动。国际教育合作联盟两年一次的战略会议也将是本次峰会的一个重头戏。峰会还安排有嘉宾参与的论坛，在闭幕式上，将有本年度 WISE Book 的全球发布及下一次国际教育合作联盟战略会议主办权交接仪式。
人大附中西山学校全体教师期待着与联盟学校伙伴一道，同来自丹麦、芬兰、新加坡、美国、香港、台湾多个国家和地区以及北京、上海、四川、江西多个省市的教育界人士携手齐心，共同开创学习型未来学校的教学专业大道。
